Everywhere You Look, You See What You’re Looking For

What are you looking for? You may have heard the quip, “Catch people doing something right and thank them for it.”

If you’re looking for the best in other people, the chance you’ll see it is a lot than if you’re looking for something they are doing wrong.

If you look for good drivers on your way to work, you’ll see them. Sure, there are exceptions to the good ones, but most drivers obey the rules, are courteous and drive safely.

If you look for what you like about your favorite politician or don’t like in your least favorite, you’re sure to see it.

If your lens is optimism, you’ll see a lot more possibilities than road blocks. If you’re looking for joy, you see joy.
