The Opportunity

The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Annual Meeting unites the world’s best sales professionals in the life insurance-based, financial services industry to share the latest thought leadership, best practices, and accomplishments. It connects like-minded financial professionals from around the world to advance their profession.

The event convenes thousands of sales professionals and financial advisors who are driven to better understand how to continue to run businesses effectively and be strategic advisors to clients and key stakeholders. It is a gathering rooted in celebrating and advancing positive individual and collective outcomes. MDRT members are ambitious, competitive, and successful business leaders. They are passionate about their work and serving their clients.

Faced with travel restrictions and safety concerns caused by COVID-19, the objective was to plan, design, and execute an international, virtual event for the first time in the organization’s history with 88 days until the event.

The event needed to capture the connection, celebration, and camaraderie of the in-person experience. This executive-level audience expected an engaging experience and white-glove customer service, along with opportunities to meet new people and connect with friends and colleagues.
